Cover Reveal!

I love the cover design for Monsters in the Archives, which Hogarth (US) and Hodder (UK) just revealed. It captures the experience of pulling an old Stephen King paperback from off of your bookshelf—that nostalgic return to the stories that scared me the most when I was a kid reading King’s books, and that fuels my story of going into King’s personal archives as an adult and exploring how he crafted those iconic, terrifying tales. “The Boogeyman,” from his 1978 Night Shift, is the story that first did me in when I was twelve. I write about that encounter in my book’s introduction. I still can’t sleep near an open closet.
